Campbell Designed has made surfing history by becoming the first surfboard manufacturer to win Gold at the Australian Good Design Awards, the program first starting in 1958 recognizing & rewarding excellence in design and innovation. Campbell Designed taking Gold honours in the Product Design – Sport and Lifestyle category for its revolutionary surfboard technology.
The prestigious award recognises Campbell Designed’s groundbreaking Exo-Flex Technology — a world-first, internationally patented surfboard construction featuring multi-layered carbon-fibre leaf springs that dramatically enhance speed, responsiveness, and strength, setting a new benchmark for surfboard performance and durability.
The Australian Good Design Awards are one of the world’s longest-running and most respected international design programs, celebrating excellence across industries that push boundaries and redefine innovation.
The Awards Jury praised Campbell Designed’s innovation, stating:
